Dear Friend,

Before Warning Signs finds its way into your hands, I wanted to pause and speak to you directly.

This book was not written in urgency or fear. It was written slowly—out of prayer, watching, and listening. Over the years, I have sat with many people who love God deeply yet feel unsettled, weary, or quietly unsure of the ground beneath their feet. Not because they lack faith—but because the world has grown louder, faster, and more distracting than ever before.

One of the great dangers of our time is not obvious rebellion, but subtle drift. We rarely wake up one day having chosen the wrong path. More often, we simply stop paying attention to the quiet places where God once met us. Discernment fades not through defiance, but through neglect.

Warning Signs was written to help us notice again.

Not to alarm.
Not to accuse.
But to gently reawaken our awareness—of God’s voice, His nearness, and the narrow road that still leads to life.

If there is one truth I hope stays with you, it is this:

God is not distant, and He is not silent. Even in a dangerous and confusing world, His guidance remains steady for those willing to slow down, listen, and walk closely with Him.

The eBook edition of Warning Signs: A Journey of Faith in a Dangerous World is now available. The print edition will follow shortly. There is no rush, no pressure, and no expectation—only an open invitation, if and when this book might serve you.

Thank you for walking with me, for reading thoughtfully, and for choosing depth in a noisy world. My prayer is that wherever you are on the path, you will sense the Shepherd’s presence beside you—steady, patient, and faithful.

Grace and peace to you,

Rick
